HISTORICAL CEMETERY #: WK146 BRUSH NECK FARM BURIAL GROUND

NOTE: James N Arnold visited this lot 25 Oct 1891; Vol 4 Pg 228. "On the Asylum Farm northeast from the house, lot fenced, some neglected" This cemetery was removed to Brayton Cemetery in Apponaug from Brush Neck Farm in 1903.  There is now a granite monument with 23 names in section 'J'. The ancestors of this family was nearly wiped out during King Phillip's War (1676).  The only survivor was the son John (1672-1744) from who all RI Budlongs descend.

This cemetery has been recorded and checked.
