Location: 25 ft west of LOVE LANE NEAR COWESETT RD at TEL pole # 58  

20 burials with 15 inscriptions from 1813 to 1877

60ft x 60ft in fair condition enclosed with a stone wall; sign missing

Tax Assessors Map #: Plat #: 234   Lot #: 159   

NOTE: Arnold visited this lot in 1893; Vol III pg 344. 'On William Read Farm at corner west of Ladd's watering place; well walled, neglected.'  Many stones badly broken sometime before 1935 when Charles & Martha Benns visited this yard.  Morgan A. Goulet cleared this lot in 1993, reset Betsey Potter's footstone and put other stones (and pieces) back in their proper places.  The Gorton infant stone, seen in 1935, could not be located
with a probe.
